About Maple Steel Properties

Maple Steel Properties is a managed home services company based in Greater Sudbury, Ontario. You book and pay online with us, and we take care of the rest: finding a qualified contractor, setting the standard for the work, and following up until the job is done.

Why we started

Hiring help around the house usually means searching, calling around, comparing quotes, chasing callbacks, and hoping the work gets done properly. We built Maple Steel Properties so you don't have to do any of that. You answer a few questions about your property, see pricing or next steps, and book — no phone tag.

How it works

  1. Tell us about the job. Choose a service, enter your address, and answer a short set of questions about your property.
  2. See your price. Many services show a final price right away. Others show a price range or start as a custom request while we confirm the details.
  3. Book and pay online. Payments are processed securely by Stripe.
  4. We assign the contractor. We choose a suitable contractor from our network and keep you updated by email.
  5. The work gets done. Contractors submit proof of completion — usually photos — so you can see what was done.
  6. You review it. After we notify you that service is complete, you have 72 hours to review the work or report a problem.

You buy from us

When you book, your agreement is with Maple Steel Properties — not with a contractor you have never met. We set the price, handle payment, communicate with you, and stay responsible for the service you purchased. If something isn't right, you come to us and we deal with it.

Our standards

  • Vetted contractors. Contractors in our network sign our independent contractor agreement, which sets our service standards and requires them to carry commercial general liability insurance and WSIB coverage (or an exemption we accept).
  • Proof of completion. Contractors document their work, typically with photos, before a job is marked complete.
  • Honest timing. Timing can depend on weather, safety, contractor availability, and demand. We tell you what we're planning and keep you updated rather than promise times we can't control.
  • Problems get fixed. If there's a legitimate issue, we investigate and, where appropriate, give the contractor a chance to correct it — without charging you again for a legitimate correction.
  • Clear policies. Our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Cancellation & Refunds policy are written in plain language and available any time.
